Barb fittings fit into flexible tubing; the tubing relaxes behind the barb to create a seal that can generally contain pressures up to 30 psi. Cole-Parmer's barbed fitting range includes barbed tube-to-tube connectors, threaded adapters, tubing plugs, and barb connector kits. Choose from multiple configurations: straight connectors, reducing fittings, elbows, T connectors, and Y connectors. Threaded adapters are also available in straight, elbow and tee configurations. We offer a variety of materials such as low-cost polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for general applications to PVDF or PTFE for corrosive media. Many tube fittings are also available in 316 stainless steel and brass. For those formulations that comply with FDA and USP regulations, we can provide certificates of fittings compliances for no extra charge.
