Choose from the wide range of controlled environment equipment and critical environment supplies from wipes and swabs, to furniture and particle counters. We carry brands such as Kimberley Clark, Texwipe, Contec, Fluke and Dupont.
Contamination Control
Four Critical Areas of Potential Contamination
Particles. The number of particles released from a substrate is traditionally the most important criterion for cleanliness. Low particle counts on products brought into the cleanroom are desirable to reduce contamination of critical surfaces as well as the general cleanroom environment.
Fibers. Low fiber counts are desirable. Many processes that can withstand a level of small particle contamination are much more sensitive to large particles and fibers.
Nonvolatile Residue (NVR). The nonvolatile residue can be detrimental in cleanroom manufacturing.
Ions. Ionic contamination can cause failure by changing the electrical properties of a material throughout the corrosion of metallized layers.
Use apparel and gloves that are specifically designed for controlled environment and clean room applications. Products can be found that comply with most ISO classes. Coveralls and frocks are available in materials such as KleenGuard by Kimberly Clark, Tyvek, ISO Clean, ProClean or ChemStat from Dupont. Gloves are available in natural latex, nitrile, and vinyl.
Critical environment supplies also include ISO compliant clean room labels, stationary, and tape.
To ensure your Controlled Environment continues to meet the critical environment ISO standards choose from a number of particle counters from Fluke, Met One, or Casella.
Specialty cleaning supplies for controlled environments are critical to maintaining clean room classifications. Controlled environment supplies such as wipers and swabs are ideal for cleaning surfaces. Adhesive rolls and mops can be used to clean controlled environment walls and floors. Critical environment cleaning supplies are typically sealed to prevent contamination
Minimize the dust you bring into your critical environment by placing adhesive mats at entrances to pull dirt and particulate off shoes and cart wheels
