Receptacles are non-magnetic and will not carry a charge, and will never rust or corrode. Defenders® step cans comply with OBRA Regulations and OSHA standards for the safe containment of infectious waste. All models are fire safe and self-extinguishing and California State Fire Marshal listed (except model C-47580-06). Square models are standard with poly bag retainer bands that can be used in conjunction with galvanized steel and rigid plastic liners, and also have a piano hinged lid restraint mechanism to protect walls and equipment. Round models come complete with vinyl base rings that protect floors and reduce noise. Replacement plastic liners are also available; order at right.
