Hose

Hose

A chemical hose is specially designed to be used with chemical compounds and offers broad chemical resistance. For basic vacuum or transfer applications, use a PVC hose. This general-purpose hose is designed for a maximum pressure of 44 psi and temperatures up to 180 degrees F. The hose is also designed with coils for crush resistance and can be mated with PVC cuffs for airtight connections. For high-purity use or aggressive chemicals, Cole-Parmer also offers PFTE- and FEP-lined hoses. These hoses are constructed with either a rubber hose or a woven flexible stainless steel jacket. PTFE hose and FEP hose can handle higher pressures (2000 psi) and temperatures (450 degrees F). Many of these hoses are designed to comply with FDA standards and meet USP Class VI requirements. Liners may be either convoluted or smooth, depending on your needs, and come with standard JIC or hex connections.
