Well known for more than 40 years for precision fluid handling, Ismatec pumps are the recognized leader in peristaltic pumps. In keeping with the tradition, all Ismatec pumps are Swiss engineered for
clockwork-like precision; manufactured according to strict ISO-9001:2000 standards and are CE compliant.

Ismatec peristaltic pumps also offer:
Planetary gear drive. This design available on select Ismatec pumps lowers pulsation, offers better reproducibility, and lengthens tubing life.

Convex rollers. Specially formed rollers also extend tubing life and offer gentler treatment of fluid in-line, protecting fragile live cell cultures. Look for these rollers on pumps for the laboratory or biopharmaceutical processing.

Remote control capabilities. Most Ismatec drives offer remote on/off, speed, and directional control. All digital Ismatec drives allow RS-232 interfacing with a computer.

Assured quality. Most Ismatec drives carry a 2-year warranty.

Build your own customized pump from separate drive and head components, or choose a complete pump system. A drive alone requires a separate pump head, whereas complete systems feature a drive with a permanently attached head. Selecting an Ismatec Pump
Flow Range depends on drive speed, number of rollers on the pump head, and the size of tubing. For a higher flow range, choose a pump head with fewer rollers. To reduce fluid pulsation, select a pump head with more rollers.

Number of Channels refers to the number of pieces of tubing that can be used simultaneously. For example, a four-channel pump head can accommodate four pieces of tubing or four cartridges. Load the four channels with different types and/or sizes of tubing, then pump a variety of fluids or the same fluid at different flow rates.

Speed: Fixed-speed pumps and drives are simple and easy to use, and they accept a wide variety of tubing sizes to deliver various flow rates. Variable-Speed pumps and drives accept analog
input for remote on/off, speed, and directional control. They are available with numerical or digital display. Digital and analog models provide an analog output to let you monitor flow rate. Digital models feature an RS-232 interface.

Programmable Dispensing Pumps are ideal for continuous pumping or for dispensing in any of five modes, including:
Volume: dispense any volume within the pump’s range
Flowrate: set to your application’s required dispense rate n Time: 0.1 second to 999.9 hours
Batches: sets delay between dispensed volumes
Drip-free: back steps pump to prevent drips
