Leeson NEMA Type 56C-Face DC Motors

  • Low-cost DC motors available in numerous configurations to meet your needs

  • Operate low-voltage models (12 or 24 VDC) with battery or solar power for fixed-speed applications
  • Explosion-proof models are Class 1, Groups C & D; Class II, Groups F & G rated

DC motors are suited for a variety of environments.
Totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motors utilize an external fan to circulate outside air to the motor for applications where the motor will be running continuously.
Totally enclosed, nonvented (TENV) motors are designed without an air opening to protect against dust and other debris.
Explosion-proof (XPRF) motors are approved for areas where hazardous materials are used.
Washdown (WDN) motors are suitable for applications requiring regular washing or sanitizing cycles.
To vary the speed on a DC motor, order a DC controller at the side.
