Permanently Sealed Dispersive Cells for Liquid Samples
Each cell is permanently mounted and sealed in 316 SS holder (cells cannot be disassembled). Use cells with shorter pathlengths for more concentrated samples; order cells with longer pathlengths for more dilute samples.
Easily fill or empty dispersive cells by means of the Luer fitting on the front plate. Windows measure 38.5 mm x 19.5 mm x 4mm. Cells include two PTFE plugs.
Characteristics of Window Material
NaCl:
Soluble in H
2
O. Fair resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
KBr:
More soluble than NaCl; wider spectral range. Fairly good resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
CaF
2
:
Resists most acids and alkalies. Low H
2
