Racks

Test tube racks have advanced far beyond the wooden box with a few holes drilled into it used in the past. Because they are used in a variety of environments from water baths, to countertops, test tube racks need to be durable, resistant to chemicals, and able to withstand extreme temperature changes. You can choose among a variety of test tube racks including Poxygrid®’s High Capacity test tube rack complete with large racks and temperature stability range of -369 to 250° F (223 to 121 C°) to the double-tiered rack which maintains stability even in water. For cryogenic tube storage there’s Nalgene®’s polycarbonate Cryoboxes which can withstand temperatures from -196 to 121°C. Wire test tube racks help you save valuable storage space. Cole-Parmer offers a series of test tube racks in a variety of materials from durable plastic, coated wire or corrosion resistant stainless steel.
