The dialysis tubes are supplied in 8¡± sticks containing 35 feet of 22 mm internal diameter tubing. The amount of tubing required can be calculated using 3.7 mL sample per cm of dry tubing. To use it, a researcher simply pulls out the required length of tubing, cuts it off and applies a closure. The sample is then added through the other end of the dry tubing and the second closure is applied.
