Monitor bacterial growth without time-consuming lab techniques, or complicated apparatus. Testing range is from 10–2 to 10–7 colonies.
Dip the strip in a water sample for 5 seconds, remove, incubate in dry air, and compare the sample (in the pouch) to the growth chart. Dyes in the strips react to give visual indication of the degree of growth within 24 to 48 hours with an ideal reading at 36 hours.
