    • Q:

What is a safe temperature to dry out retain on this sieve in the oven? Will 105ºC harm the sieve in any way?

Also, is Alconox a safe cleaner for this sieve or is it too aggressive?

        A:

You may use a 105C oven to dry out the retained particles. Alconox is okay to use to clean the sieve, as long as it is completely dissolved. It is not too aggressive if diluted properly. You'll want to rinse the sieve well and dry it immediately.
