    Cole-Parmer vacuum pump oil is formulated to ensure good performance and long pump life. CP 500 is a general-purpose high-viscosity oil. Use CP 19 in direct drive pumps to resist gum formation and oxidation. CP 20 exhibits a low vapor pressure and resists oxidation and thermal degradation—ideal for mechanical vacuum pumps. All types have a specific gravity of 0.86 g/mL.
