Gauge Guards are used to isolate and protect pressure or vacuum instruments used on ultra-pure or highly-corrosive fluid lines, whenever such fluids will corrode metal instrument components. Gauge Guards also protect against clogging of instruments by suspended solids or highly viscous fluids. Furthermore, they eliminate dead pocket areas within instruments where chemicals or organic matter could decompose. Gauge guards are a very cost-effective way to protect your very expensive transducers, gauges, or switches.
Process connections are 1/4'' and 1/2'' NPT (F), and 1 1/2'' and 2'' sanitary Tri-Clamp.
