  • Measure damaging UV (ultraviolet) light
Conduct UV degradation studies for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, semiconductor, printing, forensic applications and more. The UV light intensity appears on the large backlit display in either ìW or mW/cm² while the small lower display simultaneously shows minimum, maximum, average, and recorded data. Up to 20 data points can be recorded automatically at a variety of intervals. The
UV-A/B model measures long and medium wave UV-A/B for forensics, chromatography, electrophoresis, and dermatology applications. Use the UV-C model for UV light fume hoods, UV sterilization, industrial glass, and nondestructive testing.

One UV probe, tripod screw, magnetic mount, hard foam-lined carrying case, and one 9 V battery.

      Will this meter be ok for LED`s output (365, 395, 405 nm)as well as UV tube type output.
      Is the memory only read from the screen, ie not downloadable info

        This measures all UV light in the A and B ranges: 280-440 nm. The memory will only be able to be read from the screen.

        This unit measures all UV light between the range, it does not differentiate between A or B.

        This meter will give the intensity of UV light. Eye wear could reduce the intensity, but we are not sure if there is a good way to quantify it using this meter.

        The UV meter can me calibrated by the manufacturer at an additional cost. The unit is also available for purchase with a calibration certificate included with the unit as our catalog number NCI 00244OJ.
