With the trend to conserve valuable liquids and the need for high-precision movement of fluid, these pumps are becoming a necessity. Internal technology, similar to that of gear pumps, keeps pulsations to a minimum ensuring smooth, consistent flow necessary in applications such as analytical instruments, fuel cell and micro-reaction technology, biotechnology, and other critical application processes.

Micro-annular gear pumps are rotary pumps that are constructed with an externally toothed internal rotor as well as with an annular tooth external rotor, which bear slightly eccentric to each other. During rotation of the rotors around their offset axis, the pumping chambers simultaneously increase on the induction side and decrease on the delivery side of the pump. A homogeneous flow rate is generated between the kidney-shaped inlet and outlet. The small footprint allows for easy integration into a layout to facilitate the research.

Low-Pressure Models are supplied with DC motors with graphite brushes and are fitted with encoders.

High-Performance Models are provided with actuator equipped with an electronic commutated, brushless DC motor and integrated control unit. Control can be an RS-232 interface using Windows® Motion Manager software (included) or via an analog input signal, supply voltage 12 to 24 VDC.A gear pump skid is a versatile tool used in various industries including in the chemical, food, semiconductor and pharmaceutical production. Typically a gear pump skid comes in two varieties—a common duplex and a triplex. Many users opt for this system when they are dealing with thick, but smooth, substances. When you buy gear pump skid system you will usually receive a standard gear pump, calibration columns, relief valve, and post dilution with static mixer. No assembly is usually required. You can add on accessories such as tanks, filters and agitators. The calibration columns allow precise flow through your system and the relief valve prevents high pressure from building up in your system. The static mix allows water or other fluids to be mixed in with whatever chemical you are pumping which makes a gear pump skid ideal for working with polymers and fluids that have differing density and viscosity parameters.
