    Each cell is permanently mounted and sealed in 316 SS holder (cells cannot be disassembled). Use cells with shorter pathlengths for more concentrated samples; order cells with longer pathlengths for more dilute samples.
    Easily fill or empty dispersive cells by means of the Luer fitting on the front plate. Windows measure 38.5 mm x 19.5 mm x 4mm. Cells include two PTFE plugs.
    Characteristics of Window Material
    NaCl: Soluble in H2O. Fair resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
    KBr: More soluble than NaCl; wider spectral range. Fairly good resistance to mechanical and thermal shock.
    CaF2: Resists most acids and alkalies. Low H2:O sol
