MWCO from 12,000 to 14,000 daltons. Similar to SPECTRA/POR 2 membranes, except thicker. Dialysis time is slower, but at much less cost.Dialysis tubing is available in a range of nominal MWCO's for less specific separations. Use the economical-grade Spectra/Por 4 membrane for less critical general applications such as desalting and buffer exchange. All are packaged dry with 10% glycerol and contain trace levels of heavy metals and sulfur.
