    To select the right size blower for your fume hood, calculate the equivalent duct length of your ductwork system.
    Example:
    feet of straight duct…20 ft
    2 elbows at 20 ft each…40 ft
    1 weather cap at 5 ft…5 ft
    Equivalent duct length total…65 ft
    Round up to the nearest value in the table above left—75 feet. If you are ordering a 70" fume hood and want a standard blower, you would order the 09078-10 blower.
