The APEX 100 metal detector provides basic, cost-effective protection from the most common metal contaminants found in food production today. This metal detector is instrumental in your HACCP policy compliance and is designed to perform for years with minimal maintenance.

To deliver greater accuracy in detecting contaminants in wet and salty products, the APEX 100 features the innovative Intellitrack XR (IXR) technology. This technology learns and cancels the sinusoidal X (reactive) and R (resistive) product signals, and only detects the metal contaminants. To maintain high accuracy over time, the IXR tracks product changes and adjusts the product signals to eliminate the risk of contaminants going undetected.

Installation and setup is quick and easy, and no special training is required. The detectors come with everything you need, including electrical fittings as well as clear wiring and mechanical mounting instructions. An easy-to-use icon-driven interface features a step-by-step quick-reference guide, multilingual help text, and autocalibration.

Optimize performance by matching the metal detector exactly to your conveyor width and product height with the numerous aperture size configurations available. Easily customize your metal detector with additional accessories such as MODBUS communications modules, field compression flanges, remote control mounting kit, alarm/fault warning lights and horn, and photo eyes for product inspection trigger.

Note: To ensure proper aperture clearance, add at least 1.9 in (50 mm), to the width and height of the product. The control panel is always mounted in the center of the front of the metal detector case unless remote mounting is ordered.
