The Tuf-Flex gasket grafts a PTFE envelope to an elastomer core. Unlike pure PTFE gaskets, or even other sheathed gaskets, Tuf-Flex will not creep or cold flow over time and therefore maintains the integrity of its seal in your process line. The core gives the gasket the mechanical properties of an elastomer, including memory and flexibility. Designed to meet the stringent requirements of biopharmaceutical, ultra-pure water, WFI (water for injection), and food and beverage processing applications. A USP Class VI certification; meets USDA and 3A sanitary standards. Material is free of animal-derived ingredients.
