    • Q:

      Hello,

Can I use this kind of tube for peristaltic pumps?

Thanks in advance and my best regards
Asked on 3/5/2014 by jb from Spain

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

PTFE tubing would generally be too rigid for use in peristaltic pumps. The Masterflex system does offer an option for a PTFE-tubing pump head to be used with a custom tubing set. The part number for this head would be 77390-00.

    • Q:

does this tube considered to be L/S 16 and is it compatible with L/S® Two-Channel Easy-Load® II Pump Heads?
      Asked on 7/7/2011 by Anonymous

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

No, this is not considered L/S 16 sized tubing. Masterflex pump hedsa can only be used with flexible tubing. This is a rigid tubing. The only exception is if you use the Masterflex PTFE pump head. The pump head is part 77390-00 and uses specially formed PTFE tubing pieces.

    • Q:

What time of fitting work best with this type of tubing?
      Asked on 5/11/2011 by Anonymous

      1 answer

      • Staff Reviewer

        A:

Compression fittings work best on this type of rigid tubing. Something like part number 31320-21 would work for a straight connection.
