The improved shaft design reduces the space between piston and tip for better accuracy. Ventilated air space virtually eliminates inaccuracies caused by warm-up.
All pipettors have color-coded upper body for quick identification. Body and other plastic parts are constructed of polypropylene. Piston assembly includes a stainless steel piston sliding in a PTFE “O-ring” seal.
Adjustable-volume pipettors feature a “click-stop” operating knob. Exact volume locks into place; prevents accidental slippage of the volume setting during repeated pipetting. Operating knob controls adjustable-volume models in 0.2% increments of total volume capacity. Knob also displays volume range. Digital volume indicator has colored decimal figures to eliminate reading errors.
Pipettors include piston lubrication, calibration tool, and instruction manual. Order the appropriate disposable tips for your pipettor separately below. Optional work station 07834-99 holds up to 6 pipettors and a working supply of pipette tips.
