These fermentation kits, made exclusively for Cole-Parmer by Applikon, feature a modular design which allows you to interchange vessels, headplates, stirrer assemblies, and optional accessories. The component chart, which can be accessed by downloading the catalog page in .pdf format (see below right) indicates the basic components included with each fermentation start-up kit. Complete your system by ordering: 1) Meters and controllers for your application and 2) Fermentation accessories required by your application. A magnetic stirrer assembly is available by special order when contamination-free work is critical.Systems for Cell Culture Applications
—A gentle environment for optimal cell growth—air inlet pipe with porous sparger gently aerates your cultures.
—Scoping marine impeller efficiently mixes components within the media while minimizing shear.
—Use the sample pipe assembly with 25-µm filter (included) to extract samples from your cell cultures.
—Available in water jacketed (flat bottom) and non-water jacketed (round bottom) versions
Maintain the system temperature in the non-water jacketed vessels by using the heat exchanger, or by wrapping the entire vessel in an optional heating blanket.
All cell culture systems include: one scoping marine impeller, one nonwelded headplate, and one lipseal stirrer assembly.
