This all-in-one controlled system with a user-friendly interface design provides optimal conditions for algae or other cell cultivation to grow in a non-natural environment. The simplistic design was created in collaboration with marine scientists to provide the basic functions required for optimal growth of phototrophic organisms. Applications include growing small phototrophic organisms such as algae, moss plants, and even many species of bacteria.

This 10-liter model is comprised of a fully jacketed vessel specifically designed for temperature-sensitive samples. For additional temperature control, attach recirculator (See "Related Products" on sidebar). The vessel is surrounded by six compact, double-fluorescent lamps that are removeable, allowing photosynthesis to take place in a controlled environment.

The digitally controlled PTFE overhead stirrer includes two 4-blade adjustable PTFE propellers, and is used for agitation which helps with oxygen transfer, but preserves your fragile cells while they are gently mixed and cultivated. The ergonomic base has a simple yet functional control system, which is conveniently located beneath the glass vesel for easy operation in a small footprint. Use the interface to control all of the variables including lighting, motion, pH value, and temperature. The peristaltic pump provides a 450 mL/min flow rate. The monitoring software can be installed on any PC, and monitors pH, temperature, and stirrer speed via real time.
