The GoatThroat pumps are designed to handle a wide range of liquids—wetted parts are 100% nonreactive, food-grade polypropylene. Choose nitrile seals for petroleum-based products including oil, diesel fuel, and glycerin. The EPDM seals are ideal for general-purpose chemicals including some acids, acetates, alcohols, and phosphates. Santoprene® seals are ideal for acetic acid, acetone, and hydrocyanic acid among others. Viton® seals were developed for more aggressive chemicals including bromine, sulfuric acid, ethylene, nitric acid, gasoline, and pesticides.
