Use this filter from WHATMAN^® to prolong the life of your vacuum pump and reduce pump maintenance problems. Encapsulated in a polypropylene (PP) housing, the fully hydrophobic PTFE membrane prevents liquid and aerosol contamination of your pump. A retention rate of at least 99.97% reduces risk of cross contamination from particulate matter.

Would this filter Hydrofluoric (HF) acid vapor?

Do you have a pressure drop vs flow rate chart for this filter? The process fluid is dry air.

  A:
  We do not have such a chart for this filter, since the maximum pressure of this is 60psi and these are intended to be used with vacuum/negative pressure flow is not an issue. You will know when to change the filter due to a color change or a loss of ability to vacuum. Generally, these guards are changed on a routine basis.
