Versatile, compact design works in a field or laboratory setting
A complete meter with key features at an economical price
Replaceable, double-junction electrode sensors save time and money
IP67-rated housing sits flat on the table and floats in water
Waterproof pHTestrs are great for outdoor applications such as taking pH measurements in lakes and streams. Designed to float in water, you can even attach a line to the housing for easy retrieval. Valox® sensor housing resists most chemicals.
All waterproof pHTestrs have replaceable sensors for easy maintenance. Double-junction electrode sensors handle wastewater and solutions containing sulfides, heavy metals, and TRIS. Electrode sensors offer a clog-resistant Kynar® junction and a recessed, glass pH bulb to protect against breakage.
The keypad clicks to confirm operation, and allows access to a variety of functions. Calibrate up to three pH points with the auto-buffer recognition at both USA and NIST standard buffers. Additional features include a automatic temperature compensation (ATC), hold function, auto-off function, self-diagnostic error messages, and a three-segment battery-life indicator.
pHTestr 10 offers the most economical option with all the benefits listed above.

        A:

This tester only measures pH (35634-10). For a tester that will measure pH and TDS, please see part number 35425-05. Please consult our website for current pricing and availability.

    • Q:

We have purchased three pH Tester 30 some time in Jan/ Feb 2009. Two of them show an error 'ur'. Please let me know what could be the fault and how this problem can be solved. Please advice contact details if required.
      Thanks

Asked on 9/18/2009 by San from London

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

Probes are consumable items, they do not last forever. The "ur" message indicates that the sensor is not in contact with solution, or if it is in contact with solution when given, it means the sensor should be replaced.
Please contact our technical application specialists for additional assistance (contact information can be found on the product web page).

    • Q:

I want to be able to test water coming from springs and wells. Is this tester the most cost efficient way and will it work for years to come?

Asked on 9/9/2009 by Anonymous from Mchenry, IL

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

This unit would work for your application. The unit itself will last for many years, probes will need to be changed roughly every 18 months (when used often). Please contact our technical application specialists for additional assistance (contact information can be found on the product web page).

    • Q:

I need a tester for a hoby marine acquarium - temp kept around 27 C. I presume the product will work in this environment? And give readings corrected for this temperature?

      Asked on 8/10/2009 by Anonymous

      1 answer

      • STAFF EXPERT

        A:

Yes, the maximum operating temperature is 50 C, so it will work in that environment. Plus, this unit does have automatic temperature compensation.

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about PHTESTR<REG> 10, WATERPROOF, DJ:

You need to provide a way to keep the sensor from drying out. When we use it in the field, the tester can turn on its side. The cap needs a tight, leak-proof seal. We are using an o-ring which helps.
