  • Simple push-button operation allows for direct access to tests via the keypad - no hidden menu functions
  • User-selectable pass/fail limits for rapid testing
  • Supports Class I (grounded) and Class II (non-grounded) equipment, IEC power cords, and extension leads
  • User-selectable test times from 1 second
  • Combined bond and insulation lead reduces test time
  • User-selectable high/low current bond testing (25 A, 10 A and 200 mA) by default or per individual test
  • Instant restart minimizes boot-up time when moving test locations
  • Full color QVGA display
  • Test mode key allows for performance of any test individually
  • Efficient bond transformer with heat dissipation increases productivity without overheating under heavy use
  • Test lead null function allows extended test leads use without affecting pass/fail limits or manually accounting for the added lead resistance
Use this portable appliance tester on the production line for final verification of electrical safety requirements prior to sale, or export to Europe. This tester helps U.S. manufacturers avoid costly expenses related to failed electrical testing performed at European destinations. Easily identify and fix problems prior to shipping and ensure your equipment meets required electrical compliance and are safe to European standards.
The simple intuitive display and push-button operation makes this tester easy to set up and use. An automatic mode is available for Class I and Class II testing. In automatic mode, the tests proceed sequentially through bond, insulation, and operation (VA), indicating a pass or fail at each test. If a fail occurs, testing is stopped. When manual testing, each test is preceded by a selection screen where the test parameters are chosen. The diagnostic buttons provide direct access to any test individually, allowing single tests to be performed following repair or a suspect result.
Perform earth bond and continuity tests to verify the integrity of exposed metalwork on grounded appliances (Class I), insulation tests to check if conductors are isolated from earth (500 V DC), and touch current tests powering the asset at the supply voltage as if it were in use. Additional testing capabilities include differential leakage testing, substitute/alternative leakage testing, functional load testing, and extension and IEC power lead testing.
