Q: I need to pump variety fluids at different flow rates simultaneously. Can I do that with one Masterflex® tubing pump system?
A:
Yes, definitely. Our Digi-Staltic® dispensing system is perfect for this type of application. From one controller, you can control up to four drives at once—with each one dispensing a different fluid at various rates (or the same fluid, same rates). Even more impressive: if you want, you can control the Digi-Staltic® system from your PC workstation. See the related Feature Article for complete details.

Q: Why does Masterflex® offer so many different pump head types and so many tubing sizes?
A:
Versatility—which is one of the greatest advantages of owning a Masterflex® tubing pump system. Because we have such a wide variety of pump heads, tubing, and drives to choose from in stock, you can effectively customize—and update—a system to fit your ever-changing application needs.

Q: Does Masterflex® pump tubing meet FDA or USP Class VI requirements?
A:
Yes, several of our tubing formulations are specifically designed to meet these criteria. See our Encyclopedia Masterflex®, pages 40-43, for a complete description—including Application Suitability, Temperature Range, Classifications, and more—of our tubing formulations. To order a copy of the Encyclopedia Masterflex® online, simply select Free Catalogs and More from the Masterflex® home page and complete the information for immediate delivery of your FREE book.

Q: Should I test my tubing material for chemical compatibility?
A:
Yes. It's always a good idea to test your tubing before pumping new materials, especially if you're going to pump hazardous fluids! For your convenience, we offer a FREE Masterflex® tubing test kit that makes it easier to test chemical compatibility. The kit includes samples of tubing formulations, formulation descriptions, tubing selection guide, and easy-to-follow instructions on how to test your tubing. To order online, simply select Free Catalogs and More from the Masterflex® home page and complete the information for immediate delivery of your FREE kit.
