Training day with Masterflex pumps
Engineers and scientists using pump technology in laboratories and production sites from around the UK gathered at the Royal Society of Chemistry in London recently to attend Cole-Parmer’s Pump Training Workshop. Guests joined Cole-Parmer to learn how to select the most appropriate pump technology for their site and to maximize the productivity and efficiency of their processes.
Experienced technical specialists conducted the training. “We covered the eight main types of pump technologies, including peristaltic pumps, syringe pumps, and diaphragm pumps,” explained Michael Hassan, Application Specialist. “We gave an overview of how each works, along with the pros and cons of using each pump in real life situations.”
Participants from small businesses as well as blue chip companies had a chance to try their hand with a practical pump application, as well as an opportunity to discuss their specific challenges with Cole-Parmer’s Technical Sales Manager, Colin Heathfield.
