A peristaltic hose pump can handle your toughest pumping needs from abrasive and aggressive fluids to shear sensitive and viscous materials. The seal-free design eliminates contamination and leaks. Pumping action occurs by compression of a circular loop of elastomeric hose with two diametrically opposed rotating shoes. This rotational motion forces the fluid in the hose to move ahead of each shoe. The reinforced tube immediately returns to its original shape when each shoe reaches the end of the loop, thereby ensuring suction and priming. The pump housing is partially filled with lubricant, helping with the smooth running of the shoes on the hose. The inside of the hose and hose inserts are the only parts that come in contact with the pumped fluids, allowing contaminated and aggressive fluids to be pumped.

If you think you need this type of pump, we offer rugged, low-maintenance Abaque peristaltic hose pumps that have none of the seats, valves, or mechanical seals that create problems on other pumps—the hose is the only component that needs to be replaced. Order a ready-to-use system or customize a pump to suit your needs. If your application is moving a more viscous fluid or needs to lift product greater than 29 ft, a vacuum assist kit option is highly recommended. The advanced design and solid construction reduce maintenance and repair requirements, with the hose as the primary maintenance component.

Other features include:

– Rates to 339 GPM and discharge pressures as high as 217 psi (15 bar)
– Eliminate leaks and product contamination with sealless design
– Handle even your most abrasive, aggressive, viscous, and solid-laden fluids
– Use in demanding applications such as water and wastewater, mining, energy, and chemical process

Abaque peristaltic hose pumps are ideal for:

– Chemical process industry
– Food industry
– Industrial and municipal water treatment
– Paints and coatings
– Ceramics
– Mining
