You want your shipments to reach their destination safely. Packing the shipment in the correct shippers<\/a> or\u00a0shipping materials helps ensure this. Keeping contents at the correct temperature can be another challenge. Here is some guidance:<\/p>\n

1) Container Size<\/strong>\u2014Measure shipping content\u2019s length, width, and height on a flat surface. If cold packs are necessary, provide enough space to accommodate. Select the smallest container with inside dimensions that most closely matches the dimensions of your shipment.<\/p>\n

2) Shipment Weight<\/strong>\u2014Choose the correct container for the weight of your shipment. Cole-Parmer offers corrugated shippers<\/a> that can safely hold up to 46 lbs.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

3) Shipment Sensitivity<\/strong>\u2014If your shipment is sensitive to temperature or impact, consider packing it in an insulated shipper and then in a standard corrugated box with ample padding.<\/p>\n

4) Temperature and Shipment Duration<\/strong>\u2014If your shipment has to remain at a specific temperature, Cole-Parmer offers shippers and cold packs that will keep it at any temperature from \u201358 to 32\u00b0F (\u201350 to 0\u00b0C). Maintain temperatures down to \u2013109\u00b0F (\u201378\u00b0C) with dry ice.
