However, ceramic-coated surfaces on a laboratory hot plate provide the best balance of temperature uniformity and corrosion resistance in hot plate construction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Depending on how you plan to use your hot plate, your decision of which top plate material to choose may be easy.
