To enhance program versatility, the units also include incremental and decremental temperatures and step hold times.<\/p>\n<p>The nongradient thermal cycler uses a Peltier heater system to produce uniform temperature.<\/p>\n<p>Users can switch out thermal blocks for a quick change in testing protocol. Passwords protect saved setting configurations and temperature cycle programs to prevent tampering and accidents.<\/p>\n<p>Personal\/Compact Models have a small footprint to conserve bench space or fume hood use. These cyclers are designed for smaller sample batches, and feature faster heating and cooling rates than the full-size models.
