Beijer Electronics iX Series Rugged HMI, 15" Extra-Bright Glossy, High Performance, CAN, 12-24 VDC

Ideally suited to oil and gas, marine, and water/wastewater industries, and solar array or engine room controls, these human machine interfaces (HMI) feature specialized components to increase durability and undergo rigorous testing to ensure operation under the toughest conditions. Hazardous environment certifications include UL Class I Div 2, ATEX Zone 2, and IECEx Zone 2. Marine environment certifications include DNV, ABS, GL, LR, KR, and EN60945.


Both the serial and the CAN ports are galvanically isolated, embedded NAND flash memory is designed for extreme temperatures and extended write cycles, and touch screen is composed of chemically strengthened glass for longer service life. The panels accept 12 or 24 VDC, so converters are unnecessary.


Optional features:

High-performance models (45004-22, -23, -25, -26) feature an enhanced processor. The standard is 1.0 GHz, while the high performance version is 1.6 GHz.


High-brightness models (45004-22, -23, -25, -26, -28, -29) offer a brighter backlight suitable for easy reading in direct sunlight. Both the standard and the high-brightness models are dimmable for low-light conditions.


CAN module (45004-24 to -26, -29) allows HMI to interface with controllers using CAN communication channels.


Glossy display (45004-22 and -25) is best suited for panels installed in low-light or diffuse-light conditions. The reflective coating provides better contrast and color saturation than the standard matte coating; however, it also suffers from glare in bright rooms and on sunny days.
