Not for 5/16 tubing!

Comments about Bel-Art 19937-0002 Paddle Flow Indicator, 0.5 to 10 L/min for 1/4" to 5/16" ID Tubing:

Hose barbs are too small to fit 5/16 ID tubing! May work for 1/4 ID, but should not be advertised for 5/16!

    Comments about Bel-Art 19937-0002 Paddle Flow Indicator, 0.5 to 10 L/min for 1/4" to 5/16" ID Tubing:

My first impression, when I opened the box, was someone had slip a Cracker-Jack Toy in as a joke, but soon realize that this was the actual size I had ordered. My next thought was if it could take the pressure in my house plumping system. But after all the work I did to prove that I have no leaks in my plumping, the flow indicator did it's job and proved just that.

do you have a similar product that is capable of 100psi operation?

        A:

In order to withstand higher than 10 psi, the flow indicator would need to have a threaded connection as a tubing barb connection cannot withstand high pressures. I would recommend the 32779-40 indicator which can withstand 150 psi.
