More About this Item

Reduce the stress on your hand due to repeatedly opening and closing microcentrifuge tubes. This unique 1.5 mL tube opens by pushing a tab at the back of the cap allowing for easy, one-handed operation. Useful for processing and storage of small volume samples, reagents and extracts, they have a MAX RCF (maximum relative centrifugal force) of 25,000 x g. The smooth, transparent tube body has clear graduations from 0.1 to 1.5 mL in 0.25 mL increments, and a frosted marking area for easy tagging and identification.

These conical bottom microcentrifuge tubes are made of high-quality polymer polypropylene (PP), are strictly tested for leakage, and have excellent sealing performance. They withstand temperatures from -80 °C (-112 °F) to 121 °C (250 °F), and are DNase/RNase free, nonpyrogenic, and conform to USP Class VI standards. Packaged in resealable bags of 500, they have a printed lot number for quality traceability.
