More About this Item

These meters measure flow via pressure drop across a laminar flow element (LFE). Because the flow element makes the flow stream laminar, placement in the process does not require straight pipe runs upstream or downstream of the meter, greatly simplifying installation. As compared to thermal mass technologies, the LFE design provides an ultrafast response within 10 milliseconds and offers “instant
on” with no warm-up time.

An integrated keypad around the display is all that is required to program the unit for service. The 0 to 5 VDC output allows transmission of the flow value to a remote display, recorder, or controller regulating a valve or pump.

    works great, the push button display is very user-friendly, the lcd screen isn't very bright, but it's still a huge improvement over having to use an external pc for controlling it.

    the gas connections were a pain, this size is just barely small enough not to be compatable with a standard swagelok fitting, had to get a special fitting

        A:

        Your expected flowrange is within the range of measurement of this instrument. The accuracy of this meter is +/- 0.8% of the reading +0.2% full-scale. In your application this would be approximately +/- 0.0244ml/min. If you require a more accurate reading, I suggest using the 32908-53 (0.05 to 5ml/min; +/-0.0144) or the 32908-51 (0.01 to 1ml/min, +/-0.0064).

        The next size up in this series flowmeters is part #32908-57. it has a range of 0.5-50ml/min. We do have part 32648-02 which is 0-20ml/min. This series is basedon a specific gas. This part is for Air or Nitrogen. We have others in the series for other gases as well.
