More About this Item

These Cole-Parmer® column temperature control systems provide even chamber temperatures.

This compact high-capacity unit offers the reliability of a completely solid-state system. It will control the temperature from 4.0°C to 70.0°C for up to four columns that are 1" diameter by up to 30 cm long. Convection chilling and heating allows for even chamber temperatures. The Peltier design removes the need for compressors or CFCs. Extremely energy efficient; it uses the maximum of 100 watts of power, less than many light bulbs. The RS-232 port offers you the option of creating your own program, including ramp and soak series of cycles, via connection to PC. User may also collect data via the I/O port.

The only moving parts in the unit are the chamber fan and the cooling fan. Epoxy-coated aluminum chamber is resistant to most solvents. Column mounting posts are on the door, allowing easy access to the columns, valve and fittings when the door is open. The separate drains for valve and chamber will direct spills or leaks to the outside of the chamber.
