More About this Item

These Cole-Parmer® column temperature control systems provide even chamber temperatures.

This programmable, single-column unit will accept column temperature ranges from 4.0°C to 100.0°C. Feature full programmability—each set can be programmed to repeat automatically from 1 to 99 times. Store five programs of up to ten steps each. Heater accepts columns that are 1 ⁄4" or 3⁄8" diameter by up to 30 cm long. The peltier-based design for heating and chilling eliminates the need for compressors or CFCs. Using up to 100 watts of power; this unit is extremely energy efficient. PID temperature control of the chamber uses an accurate platinum RTD temperature sensor. The RS-232 port offers you the option of creating your own program, including ramp and soak series of cycles, via connection to PC. User may also collect data via the I/O port.

The chamber is insulated with chemically resistant silicon rubber and includes a drain for spills. To resist heat and chemicals, the cover is machined from block polycarbonate. Case construction of ABS plastic and epoxy painted sheet steel ensures durability and years of use.
