These immersion circulators are intended to be used with the Cole-Parmer WBU-200 series unheated water baths or any other suitable laboratory vessels. They are designed to heat, circulate, and precisely control the temperature of the liquid in the bath, making them ideal for both heating and cooling applications.
The circulators are ideal for sub-ambient cooling, right down to -40 °C, although a low-temperature liquid is required below 0 °C. To achieve temperatures below ambient, external accessories such as a cooling coil (part number 12122-87), dip-cooler, or flow cooler are required.
These versatile circulators can be used in as a stand-alone water bath temperature controller, a pump for recirculating chilled liquid from an external chiller, a pump for providing temperature control to an external device or a combination of using externally chilled liquid and providing temperature control to an external system.
Features include a digital display, PID temperature control, overtemperature indicator light, pressure pump, and a low-liquid level cutoff for safe and efficient operation.
Please Note: To achieve sub-ambient temperatures, the circulator needs an external cooling coil, dip cooler, or flow cooler, which are sold separately.
