Use these powerful ball mills for mechanical alloying, slurry grinding, blending powders, mixing emulsions, and mechanochemistry. The sample is placed in a grinding vial with one or more balls, then shaken vigorously. The clamp swings back-and-forth 2-1/3” (5.9 cm) with a short lateral “figure-8” movement, producing strong G-forces on the vial to pulverize the toughest samples. Adjustable clamp accepts vials in various materials to effectively grind all sample types and to avoid contamination from specific elements. View time remaining on the digital display.
