More About this Item

Nationwide on-site services are available through our partnership with AL-TAR. Cole-Parmer offers simple service pricing to purchase on-site laboratory equipment services performed by AL-TAR, including travel costs. AL-TAR is an authorized laboratory equipment service representative and provider to over 150 leading manufacturers, dealers, and distributors in the fields of scientific research and biotechnology. Their experienced field engineers have extensive training and technical support resources to draw upon when diagnosing equipment. If replacement is determined to be a better route than repair, the customer experience team at Cole-Parmer is available to help you with your selection.

AL-TAR provides a full-range of services for your laboratory oven. Regardless of the make and model, you can have preventive maintenance and calibration performed or opt for a full IQ/OQ/PQ validation package.

AL-TAR will schedule the on-site services directly with the customer; typically within 2 to 3 business days of an order being placed. Often the services will be reconfirmed a few days ahead of any scheduled service so that everything is in place for a successful visit. During checkout, please enter information in the free-form text box for the specific contact person AL-TAR will work with to coordinate the on-site visit, as well as any other information requested below.

EXISTING EQUIPMENT
When ordering a service for an existing piece of equipment you already have on-site, please include any relevant information about the make and model of the equipment(s) being serviced along with the contact information.

NEW EQUIPMENT
When ordering new equipment along with an on-site service, the scheduling of the service will be planned around the equipment being delivered and installed / ready to use. If you are ordering multiple services for both new and existing equipment, please note that in the checkout text field as services for existing equipment may be able to be scheduled earlier.

A solid preventive maintenance and calibration plan for your key equipment can avoid unplanned downtime and expensive repairs, so your workflow, research or production can continue uninterrupted. Calibration with NIST-traceable standards assures your compliance to regulatory guidelines and reliable operation of your equipment, USP41. Starting with our internal training programs, focusing on the World Health Organization (WHO) maintenance manuals and OEM guidelines, AL-TAR PM technicians work to “prevent” costly equipment failure with detailed checklists and functional testing. Checklists are developed to follow current guidelines established by entities such as the College of American Pathologists, FDA Code of Federal Regulations 21CFR 820.181, Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) Section 42CFR 493.1254 and USP Guidelines.
