Split tube furnaces feature a body that is split in half, attached by a hinge, allowing easy process tube installation and removal; use process tubes with end seals attached. Set up tube furnaces for use in either horizontal or vertical orientation. The vacuum-formed ceramic fiber heating elements with free radiating wire embedded into the body of the heater to ensure rapid heat up, excellent temperature uniformity, and quick cooldown. Select from compact and lightweight split tube furnace with 1100 °C (2012 °F) maximum operating temperature or larger split tube furnaces with 1200°C (2192 °F) maximum operating temperature.

This compact, lightweight split tube furnace fits easily on the benchtop—an excellent choice for a small lab. It provides 30.4 cm (12") of heated length and accepts tubes up to 3.1 cm (1.25") OD. Easily control the furnace using the 1/16 DIN size PID controller with a total of 288 programmable segments. A safety switch disconnects power to heating elements when opened, ensuring operator safety.
