Sonic sifters deliver 3600 sonic pulses/min oscillation inside the sieve stack to provide precise, dependable separation of powders, granular materials, and minerals down to 5 µm. Vertical and horizontal tapping actions ensure maximum particle movement to separate hard-to-separate materials while reducing sample clumping. Easily set operating parameters using a control panel with a large LED display. Set vibration and amplitude, ramp and dwell, test time, tapping action as well as 10 fully customizable profiles to ensure accurate and repeatable test results.
Sifter accommodates seven 3" woven-wire cloth ASTM E11 test sieves or three 3" ASTM E161 test sieves in the fixed-height sieve stack assembly. The sieve stack assembly consists of a latex diaphragm on the top that seals the sieve column and flexible latex fines collector at the bottom. Stack assembly is held together with a column lock that quickly and easily secures the stack in place.
Backlight and clear acrylic door make it easy to view while in operation. The sliding door along with the top and bottom diaphragms help confine dust particles and reduce respirable particle exposure to a minimum. Powder-coated steel construction provides excellent durability.
