More About this Item

These sterile cell culture media bottles with tubing and vent filters are perfect for fluid transfer and storage. Designed for a continuous flow path, each BPA-Free, PETG bottle has a polypropylene (PP) cap assembly that features a platinum-cured silicone gasket for a closed, leakproof, system. The entire assembly is manufactured without any machining residue or bonding agents.
These graduated media bottles feature a hose barb plug that keeps the line closed until it is removed for use, and a pinch clamp that easily allows the user to control flow into the container, or to close off the line entirely. A rigid dip tube with notch allows for easy filling and extraction of media. They also have a 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE filter that allows for ventilation while preventing media from escaping in the event of a spill.
Manufactured in a certified ISO Class 7 cleanroom, these assemblies are gamma radiation sterilized and eliminate the costly pre- and post-cleaning and validation needs that are required with reusable assemblies. They are made entirely with USP Class VI components made and sterilized in the United States further reducing the risk of contamination.
