More About this Item

These 96-well polystyrene microplates meet the SBS standard to ensure compatibility with microplate and automation equipment. Plates are available sterile and non-sterile, with and without lids, and come in a wide range of colors, surface treatments, and well shapes.

Plate Colors: Clear plates have excellent optical properties making it ideal for optical measurements. Black plates have low background fluorescence, minimal light scatter and reduced crosstalk. White plates enhance luminescent signals and have low background luminescence and fluorescence.

Surface Treatment options are the standard tissue culture (TC) surface treatment for optimal cell attachment, not treated/medium binding surface treatment which is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions, and high binding treatment which is capable of binding medium (>10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions.

Well Shape options include flat wells which maximize light transmission, round wells which optimize coating and washing, and V-bottom wells let you completely retrieve well contents.
