More About this Item

These permeable supports, also known as cell culture inserts, are designed to satisfy your diverse cell culture requirements. A suspended design prevents media wicking between the insert and the plate well. It also allows for co-culturing without damaging cells attached to the plate's growth surface. Choose either polycarbonate (PC) or Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) membrane material. Polycarbonate membranes are translucent while PET membranes are clear, allowing for excellent visibility under phase contrast microscopy.
