More About this Item

These sterile culture flasks have individually printed lot numbers for product traceability and feature molded-on graduations. Flasks are constructed of durable polystyrene and have an HDPE cap. Choose from a range of cap types, neck styles, flask shapes, and surface treatment options for many cell culture applications.

Cap Type options include a plug seal for a liquid and gas tight seal, phenolic sold flat top caps, and vented caps which contain a 0.2 μm nonwetting (hydrophobic) membrane sealed to the cap allowing gas exchange.

Neck Style options include canted and angled. Canted necks feature a ramp from the bottom to the neck allowing for easy access to growth surface for pipetting or scraping. Angled necks utilize the entire bottom area for cell growth, saving space and reducing the medium sloshing into the neck.

Flask Shapes available are rectangular and U-shaped. Rectangular flasks feature sharp corners for enhances stability. U-shaped flasks have rounded shoulders for an easier grip and better access when removing or tightening the cap.

Surface Treatment options are the standard tissue culture surface treatment for optimal cell attachment and ultra-low attachment which features a covalently bound hydrogel layer that minimizes cell attachment, protein absorption, and cellular activation.
