More About this Item

This digital barometer is great for measuring barometric pressure, temperature, and relative humidity in ambient environments. Additionally, the large four-line LCD also displays barometric pressure trends in bar graph format and time of day. Minimum/Maximum readings for all three parameters are automatically stored internally each hour and can be recalled for the past 24 hours. High and low audible and visual alarms may also be set for pressure, temperature, and humidity conditions.
Add the optional data acquisition software and USB cable to permanently capture real-time measurements on your PC from up to eight different barometers. Data can then be saved, viewed, printed as-is, or merged into a report or spreadsheet and e-mailed to any smartphone or computer. The software also features its own 24/7 audible and visual alarm to remind you to check on data.
Traceable® products are calibrated to NIST-traceable standards and ready to use as soon as you receive it. Each product goes through an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, and it includes NIST-traceable certification. This means that a 17025-accredited calibration test lab has confirmed that the product meets or exceeds all stated specifications, saving you both time and money by not having to calibrate separately.

    My current installation is a model AO-68000-49. Is this the same as model EW-68000-49? If not, any idea what the differences are?

      This is the same item. The letters in front of the item number 68000-49 just designate where the item is being found, such as the website of a catalog.

    Is there a capability to program an offset to the pressure measurement when calibrating the instrument or does calibration simply test the accuracy to be within tolerance? If so, is this a programable option available to the user?

      The barometer is cannto be calibrated in the field. It must be returned for calibration under 17040-30.

      We usually recommend calibration one year after calibration date, but that varies from application to application. Please see part number 17040-30 for on-site calibration services.

      Stabilization time from one location to another is not a tested parameter of this unit. It should be fairly immediate for the sensors to adjust to a new location.

      Measuring ranges can be switched from milibars (mbar), inches of mercury (inHg), or hectopascals (hPa). It will not display in mmHg.

    Replacing current device with a new digi-sense tracable thermometer/barometer #68000-49...
    However the humidty between the two device does not match:
    Current 37%
    New 52%

      Overtime an older unit will tend to drift. Depending on the unit it can rift between 2-5% every year. The digisense unit is supplied with an NIST calibration report, which will show how accurate your readings are.
